Tour of Almaty has been filed with success and satisfaction thanks to Danilo Celano, and now is ready to start again for a new challenge, that is the 87th edition of the Grand Prix de Fourmies / La Voix du Nord, UCI Europe Tour. A French one day classic of category 1.HC that will take place on Sunday 8 September. At the start of this extremely important one day race (205-km hilly course), A&V – Prodir will have to fight against 23 other strong teams, of which eight will be World Tour, thirteen Professionals and only two other Continental.

All eyes on Davide Appollonio, who returns to compete in this competition after finishing second in 2010, when he was only 20 years old and at his first year as a professional (in team Cervèlo jersey). To give an precious helping hand to Appollonio there will be a strong French athlete, the 20-year-old trainee Kevin Boyer, a native of the Reunion Islands who this year has already placed many times into top 5 in France among the elites and under23.

Boyer is a very young and interesting sprinter – explains the sports director Roberto Marchetti – this will be a great opportunity for him. Clearly he will lead the race in support of our real leader Davide Appollonio. Furthermore he is at the debut among the professionals and his morale is pretty high. Even the condition appears at the top and we believe in him a lot, convinced that in the future he can really become a great and important rider for our team“.

In addition to the French trainee Boyer, there will be the debut in Amore & Vita – Prodir, that is Rubens Rosini, an 19 years old climber coming from Team Futura of the former Fanini’s rider and winner of the Giro d’Italia, Franco Chioccioli.
