Plentiful satisfactions continue to arrive at Amore & Vita – Prodir. In fact, after the important victories of the last month, the positive success story continues. This time the well-deserved victory (the 10th in season for A&V) goes to Danilo Celano who on the uphill finish that led from Almaty to the Medeu ice skating stadium, showed all his skills as a great climber going to take a fantastic success precisely in the second and final stage of the Tour of Almaty 2.1 UCI Asia Tour. Behind him came in order the Russian rider Cherkasov of the Rusvelo professional team, and the Kazakh talent Natarov (winner of the general classification) of the Astana Pro team. In 4th place came therefore another bearer of A&V Prodir, that is the Sicilian Pierpaolo Ficara, who was also very determined for the purpose of Celano’s success.
To note that Celano with the A&V jersey had won the Apennines Tour in 2017 and finally returned to success in a prestigious race after two years.
Great joy for Fanini: “I am especially happy for Danilo who experienced an unlucky start to the season. Until today he had collected many excellent placings but he did not give up and with great determination he went on to take a splendid victory. He deserved it, as even though Ficara deserved it, but it is only a matter of time and he will be the one to come soon. Celano represents my personal bet that I believe won.
